  • Recycling Routes for Packaging waste - Video CD Project (June 2003)

  • Impact of increasing road transport costs on waste recovery and recycling (early 2004)

  • Simulation of recovered paper markets for sustainable resource management (end 2004)

    To facilitate sustainable waste management by improving resource efficiency at the commercial activity stage through innovative research. Funded by Biffaward and due to run until early, 2005. Join RRF and get a complimentary copy.

  • Understanding waste behaviour - Part 2 (February 2004)

    This study addresses which specific devices, methods, approaches & incentives could be used and with what expected outcomes. Not yet complete.     Kingston University investigated what is meant (and understood) by the term Integrated Waste Management.

  • Recycling achievements in North America (November 2001) - 0.3 MB

  • Action against chewing gum

    Assessing scope for countering the problem of discarded chewing gum (in Gravesham, Kent). Not yet complete. Expected to be published and placed on the web in February, 2004.

  • Household organic waste shredding programme (May 2002) - 0.1 MB

To assess the impact (on yield, quality and participation) of a peripatetic household organic waste shredding service.

  • Swale Borough source separation trials (June 2002)

    Alternative municipal pilot source-separation schemes, to determine relative environmental and economic effectiveness.

  • Maidstone Borough action on fly-tipping (January 2003) - 0.2 MB

    The project studied fly-tipping, using close circuit television (CCTV) system.

  • Maidstone Borough source separation trials (November 2002) - 0.4 MB

    Alternative source-separation schemes applied to determine relative environmental and economic effectiveness.

  • Woking Borough recycling promotion campaign (March 2003) - 0.1 MB

    To increase participation in a pilot municipal source separation and recycling scheme.

  • Inland waterways and the transport of waste (October 2001) - 0.6 MB
